Terms of Use

Short version: nothing on this site is a sale. You cannot buy anything here, we take no payment, and joining the waiting list does not create an order.

What this site is

Steadwell is a brand in development. The bedside commode shown here is in tooling and has not been manufactured yet. We built this page to find out how many people want it before we commit to a production run.

The price and the discount

The price shown is our intended retail price and it can change before the product ships. The discount we offer to the waiting list will be honoured against whatever the final price turns out to be, for as long as the first production run lasts. If we never produce the unit, there is nothing to honour and we will tell you so.

The waiting list

Joining puts your email address on a list and nothing more. It is not a reservation, not a pre-order and not a contract. You owe us nothing, we owe you one email, and either of us can walk away. You can be removed at any time by writing to ecom@connectoconsulting.com.

The images

Every product image on this site is a pre-production render of the unit currently in tooling, and each one is labelled as such. Dimensions, materials and finish are the specification we are quoting to manufacturers. The finished product may differ in detail from what the renders show.

The 500 pound rating

That figure is our design target. Independent load and stability testing is scheduled on units from the first production run and we will publish the report on this site. Until that report exists, treat the number as a stated intention rather than a certified result.

Not medical advice

A bedside commode helps a person use the toilet away from a bathroom. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you are choosing equipment for someone whose mobility is changing, ask an occupational therapist or their physician.
